Once OPAL is installed, you can access OPAL Help from the Windows 'Start' menu, usually under Programs - COGSoft Opal 2.3 - Opal Help. OPAL Help includes a section entitled "Getting started in OPAL". If you have not used OPAL before, this is a good place to start.

If you have trouble locating the help you are looking for, try using the Search facility in Opal HELP. Click on the tab labelled 'Search', type in a keyword or two and hit the return key or click on 'List Topics'. If any matching topics are found, then select the one to display. If no matches are found, try simplifying your search.

All OPAL programs include context-sensitive help. For example, if you want to know what a particular toolbar button is for, then click on the Context Help button and then on the button you want to know about.
